Welcome to the registration for the
2018 Paracanoe Conference
The second World Conference on Paracanoe has a rich and deep programme in the three topic areas of the Conference: Sport, Medical Rehab. and Recreation. There are as many different development strategies as there are countries. At this conference we will learn firsthand about Sport and Recreation programmes in the UK, USA, France, Japan, Poland, Italy and Sweden. The conference will be held in Stockholm, Sweden.
Anna Bjerkefors and Ulrica Lundstrom will present their information on the benefits of Paracanoe for medical rehabilitation. In addition, Rosa Zaranska will present her long experience with Paracanoe at the Special “O” World Games and the benefits for social inclusion through canoeing. We also have presenters (Rosen, Dyer, Santos, Starczewski, Quenda, Simons, Januario) giving us the latest in current research on Paracanoe. Ms. Fatima Fernandes (ICF Head of Classification) will present on Paracanoe Athlete Classification. Finally, Johnny Young of the UK will present on his personal experiences as an athlete and what Paracanoe has done for him.
This conference will bring all the key world leaders and thinkers on Paracanoe together in one place and at one time. Manufacturers are also joining us so we can see the latest boats and equipment.
