Participation fee includes: Participation in the lectures, access to the learning management system, access to the lecture materials and assignments and university credits issued by Chalmers University of Technology upon completion of the course.

The Metal Cutting Course gives the participant a practical, integrated, in-depth understanding of machining which can be utilized for enhancing and optimizing machining operations in industry. The attendee gains knowledge in the underlying mechanics in the cutting zone and insight into important areas of cutting technology such as machine tools, machinability and cutting-tool materials. Machining is discussed from the perspective of machining quality, costs and sustainability.
The course is aimed at engineers (mechanical, manufacturing and materials) and practitioners (production technicians, process planners and machine operators).

Cancellation of registration
Cancellation is free and fully refunded 2-weeks prior to the course start date.
Later cancellations are not refunded.

Cancellation has to be made to: mcr@meetx.se

Payment
The conference fee can be billed to the specified billing address, or paid by card through our secure Swedbank Pay solution.
When paying by invoice an invoice fee of SEK 49 including VAT.
Meetx confirm and invoice incl. VAT.
Payment terms are 30 days. Payment must be received before the meeting begins.

Change fees applicable for registration and invoices
Improper submitted billing address is charged SEK 250 for readdressing and retransmission of invoice.
Delayed payment fee is SEK 60.

VAT on fees – important information
The fees are stated in SEK excluding Swedish VAT. Please note that all delegates are required to pay Swedish VAT on the registration fee (25%).

Swedish tax legislation requires us to charge VAT (25%) on registration fees for both Swedish and non-Swedish customers. If your company is headquartered in a EU VAT-area country, you may apply for a VAT refund at your tax office in your home country. Kindly contact your tax authority for more information on VAT refunds.
