Future Adaptive Design
- Guide and toolbox launch

20 September 2023 · 1-4 pm CEST · Gothenburg (Sven Hultins plats 5) / Online · Free

Welcome to an exciting afternoon focused on Future Adaptive Design – an approach to designing products and services for circular business models.

We will discuss how a new design logic based on longer product lifetimes can help companies to reduce business risks and shift to circular business models that increase the potential for improved profitability and environmental performance.

The program includes an introduction to Future Adaptive Design as well as inspirational presentations by companies in multiple sectors. Volvo Trucks, Polestar, Vidde Mobility and Brighteco will share their insights and experiences from exploring circular business models and working with future adaptive design. The event concludes with an in-depth panel discussion around opportunities and challenges with additional representatives from industry and academia.

During the event, we will share proven ways of working and launch a practical guide and a toolbox for Future Adaptive Design. The guide and tools have been co-developed with industry partners based on insights and experiences gained during several applied research projects. We hope the guide and tools will inspire and help more companies to pursue adaptive designs and reinforce a circular logic throughout their organisations.

We look forward to meeting you at the event and discuss how we can explore opportunities for future adaptive designs and circular business models together!
