IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

WE HAVE TODAY TAKEN THE DECISION TO CANCEL THE (physical) CONFERENCE.

The reason for this very difficult decision at this very late stage of preparation is the Covid-19 situation. We are on the brink of a pandemic. The number of cases reported in many European countries is increasing significantly every day. Even if today there is only clear community spread in China, Korea, Iran and Italy, it is impossible to predict the situation in a couple of weeks from now. There is clearly risk of a much wider spread then. As most of the delegates and speakers have important professional responsibilities in their respective health home countries, we have decided to take a pro-active stance of potential situation instead of to be re-active only on the reported situation of the day. We feel it would be irresponsible not to take this precaution. We can also predict that a substantial number of the registered delegates will come to the same conclusion. We already have had a few cancellations.

Instead we plan and invite registred participants to

Virtual Stockholm Conference on Ultra-Early Intervention 2020, 19th of March

As Zoom conference or ”webinar”.

We haven’t had time to contact all presenters yet but we hope they can present as planned but from home via the internet. The webinar will be transmitted live that would enable questions and discussions.

We don’t have all details ready yet but there will very probably, as for all our previous conferences  also be possible to attend recorded version later – link on www.karolinska.se/ultraearly. We hope that this would partly compensate you for the cancellation.

More information will follow shortly

We understand if you – like we – are disappointed of the cancelling of our meeting but hope you understand and respect our difficult decision. We also hope that the virtual meeting could be of some compensation.

Moreover, we will come back! Save the date for

Ultra-Early 2021! 25th March 2021.
